What do you want to be when you grow up? Kids love to dream about what they want to be when they grow up. Do you remember what you wanted to be? Then, as time passes, we start settling into a career that the world tells us we should do.

After all, we need to pay the bills, afford the house in the suburbs, and maintain a certain image. What about the dream job you wanted as a kid?

Below is an infographic that goes into more details about those childhood dreams. Many children dream about becoming actors when they become adults. The average actor makes about $17.44 per hour. Actors do not need to have any formal education, but it can be very beneficial. The acting profession is growing much slower than the national average.

Professional model is another popular job aspiration. The average salary for a professional model is $42,056 per year. However, some models, such as Gisele Bundchen, made over $45 million dollars last year.

It is very difficult to become a professional model because very few people meet the height and weight requirements. Female models are typically between 5’9 and 6 feet tall. They also weigh between 110 and 130 pounds.

Male models are typically between 5’11 and 6’2. They also weigh between 140 and 160 pounds. The average model’s career lasts between two and five years. Eighteen percent of models work freelance, are self-employed or work part-time.
